Mark Johnson is responsible for leading the strategic and tactical execution of MusclePharm’s retail go-to-market strategy for the Food, Drug and Mass (FDM) Channel across North America. He has over 15 years in consumer goods experience, driving strategic partnerships with the US and Canada’s leading retailers.

Within his current role, Mr. Johnson is focused on leveraging shopper and consumer insights to build long-term partnerships with top retailers, as well as continue to expand MusclePharm’s distribution footprint.

Before joining MusclePharm, Mr. Johnson was the Director, FDM Channel for Glanbia Performance Nutrition, where he successfully launched the trusource™ brand into the FDM space. Prior to Glanbia, Johnson held a variety of sales leadership roles for Group Danone, including Sr. Director of Sales Strategy & Planning for Stonyfield and Director of Sales for the Central Region. Under his leadership, Danone gained 7 share points in the yogurt category and secured category captainship across four of the US’s top 10 retailers.

Earlier in his career, Johnson served in a variety of roles in Sales, Marketing and Finance for Unilever Kraft Foods and CVS Caremark. He began his career as a strategy consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mark holds a BA in Economics from Duke University, and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
